Workshop Highlights
Drone-Oriented Photography Experience
Explore Catalonia’s medieval heritage from the air, focusing on castles, monasteries, mountain fortresses, and ancient villages that truly раскрываются only from above. Every location is chosen specifically for aerial composition and storytelling.
Off the Beaten Path
We intentionally avoid mass tourism. Many of our shooting locations are rarely visited — in some places, we may be the only people there, allowing for uninterrupted creativity and unhurried flying.
Night Photography in Tarragona
Traditional photography session with tripod and camera in historic Tarragona, working with ambient light, long exposures, and the atmosphere of an ancient city after dark.
One Comfortable Base — Tarragona
Staying in one location eliminates constant packing and long drives, giving us more time for photography, rest, and meaningful exploration.
Local Catalan & Spanish Cuisine
Exceptional regional food is an integral part of the experience — authentic, flavorful, and deeply connected to the culture we photograph.

Physical Difficulty:
Easy. Light walking and short approaches only. This workshop is accessible and enjoyable without strenuous hiking.
Weather:
November in Tarragona is pleasantly mild and very comfortable for travel and photography. Daytime temperatures typically range from 14–18°C (57–64°F), with evenings cooling down to around 8–12°C (46–54°F). The Mediterranean climate keeps the air soft and breathable, without extreme cold.
Transportation:
Included in the tour price (except flights to/from Barcelona and airport transfers). We’ll travel in a comfortable minivan or SUV
Lodging:
Accommodation is based on double occupancy (single rooms available on request).
Meals:
Not included, except for a few hotels offering complimentary breakfast.
Itinerary
Day 1 — November 22, Sunday
All participants arrive in Barcelona. We will meet at Barcelona Airport at around 10:00 AM.
If you plan to arrive a day earlier, we recommend booking a hotel near the airport so we can easily pick you up in the morning.
From Barcelona, we travel together to Tarragona. After arrival, we’ll enjoy lunch, followed by hotel check-in and some time to settle in.
In the afternoon, we head out for our first sunset photography session around Tarragona, easing into the rhythm of the workshop and catching the warm Mediterranean light.
The day concludes with dinner and a relaxed evening walk through Tarragona’s historic center, getting our first feel for the city’s atmosphere and history.

Days 2–4 — November 23 — 25, Monday — Wednesday
Each of these days will follow a carefully balanced rhythm built around the best light and relaxed pacing.
We begin with sunrise photography sessions every morning, capturing castles, monasteries, and historic landscapes as they awaken in soft morning light. One of these mornings we will wake up even earlier than usual for a special night photography session in Tarragona’s old historic center, focusing on atmosphere, architecture, and long-exposure techniques.
After each morning session, we return to our hotel for breakfast and rest, allowing time to recharge before the next adventure.
In the afternoon, we head out to our evening photography locations, carefully selected for their dramatic landscapes, elevated viewpoints, and medieval character. We return to Tarragona around or after sunset, followed by dinner and a relaxed evening.
On one of the days, participants are invited to an optional, informal Lightroom session, where we’ll walk through a practical workflow—from organizing files to processing drone and ground-based images—designed to improve efficiency and consistency without overwhelming technical detail.

Day 5 — November 26, Thursday
In the morning, we will drive to Barcelona Airport, where the main workshop will officially conclude.
Participants who are joining the optional Barcelona extension will then self-transfer to their hotel to drop off luggage. After that, we’ll head out for a relaxed Barcelona city tour, exploring the city at an easy pace.
In the evening, we’ll enjoy a casual walk through Barcelona’s streets, soaking in the atmosphere, architecture, and vibrant city life.

Day 6 — November 27, Friday
We will spend the entire day in Barcelona. In the morning, a local guide will meet us at the hotel, and we’ll enjoy a 4–5 hour guided tour of the city, exploring Barcelona’s history, architecture, and vibrant neighborhoods at a relaxed pace.

Day 7 — November 28, Saturday
After breakfast, self-transfer to Barcelona Airport for your flight home.
End of the journey, filled with memories, images, and inspiration to take with you.
