Perched high on a rocky hill, Marvão offers panoramic views of the surrounding countryside that seem to stretch forever. Its cobbled streets, whitewashed houses, and incredibly well-preserved castle make it a dream for photographers and history lovers alike.

On our way to Marvão, we might stop at another historic village with its impressive fortress—yet another chance to explore Portugal’s rich past and capture unforgettable scenes.
